1. Executive Summary
Fomio School Portal reimagines how educational institutions manage academic records and facilitate student-teacher communication. By moving away from legacy, clunky interfaces, Fomio School introduces an immersive, fluid, and aesthetic interface with sub-100ms transitions and seamless responsive designs across all viewports. It acts as a cohesive digital link between administrators, educators, and pupils.
2. The Core Challenge
Educational portals are typically fragmented, requiring administrators to use separate platforms for grading, attendance tracking, parent messaging, and assignment distribution. This fragmentation leads to high friction, low adoption rates, administrative delays, and lost communications. Additionally, legacy school sites are notorious for being mobile-unfriendly and difficult to operate.
3. The Custom Solution
I built a unified Next.js dashboard that supports robust, multi-tenant roles for administrators, teachers, and students. By developing custom lightweight React states for real-time grade calculations and immediate class chats, the interface delivers snappy responses.
Styling was implemented using Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui components, creating a premium glassmorphic theme that renders beautifully on mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports.
